Heather Helinsky is a freelance dramaturg based in Philadelphia and the Literary Manager for Playwrights Foundation. For the Kennedy Center: guest dramaturg various KCACTF regional festivals since 2012, VSA Discovery Series, past reader for Steinberg/David Mark Cohen award, and Undergraduate Playwrights Workshop. Other select theatres: Accessible Theatre, American Repertory Theatre, Borderlands, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Great Plains Theatre Conference, Pittsburgh Public, PlayPenn, amongst others. Production dramaturgy on notable plays: JT Rogers’ OSLO, Tira Palmquist’s TWO DEGREES, Caridad Svich’s GUAPA. Training: M.F.A. in Dramaturgy from the A.R.T./Moscow Art/Harvard (’07).
