Ryan Duncan-Ayala

Ryan Duncan-Ayala is a Latinx early career arts administrator from South Texas. He was the recipient of the KCACTF Region VI 'Excellence in Arts Administration' Award which allowed him to be a part of the 2019 National LORT ASIRE Arts Leadership program that took place at the Kennedy Center. While at the Kennedy Center, he was awarded a summer internship in Company Management at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT. From there, he moved to Syracuse, NY to become Syracuse Stage's next Development Assistant. Aside from that, Ryan is working with KCACTF to create a Latinx Student Council to advise the organization, and the Kennedy Center, on programs and policies regarding the community all while actively reading and evaluating plays for multiple new work festivals across the nation. Ryan is passionate about creating spaces for under-served communities, creating theatre that provokes discussion and empathy, and fostering new work development.
