Lift Our Voices: LGBTQ+ Stories

Throughout the festival participants have gathered together to discuss pathways to increasing awareness and acceptance both within and outside the community. Participants crafted the following statements as a way to discuss identity:

I am in charge of my own identity.
I want you to know that I am complex.
I fear what I and others don't know.
I embrace the value of everyone.

Together we will honor loudly, lovingly and gracefully.

Join us for this safe sharing session where all are welcome to share your story as a way to lift our voices and guide us to a more inclusive world. Allies are welcome to share as well. Each participant will have the opportunity to share briefly, or you are welcome to come and listen.
