One of the first steps for any load in is marking the stage. This workshop with describe and demonstrate two of the methods used by touring shows to lay out points in a quick and efficient manner. The “Centerline” method uses two cloth tapes and “Zero Zero” method, with a roll of curtain webbing. These methods are normally intended for the layout of motor points used by a touring show; however, they can be used by any department that needs to mark their stage with great accuracy.
